Role Overview:
Servicing as the primary governance and oversight lead for Nomura’s offshore cash equities settlements team in India-Powai, the incumbent ensures seamless post-trade operations across APAC markets. A key focus will be supervising offshore teams, enabling cross-border collaboration, and leveraging data insights to streamline settlement process, mitigating control gaps, and improving client experience.
The incumbent will also perform daily BAU concerning asset servicing, payments, client asset segregation, and bank reconciliations and is expected to drive process efficiency, risk mitigation, and automation by analyzing post-trade data.
This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment which requires the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of both internal and external clients. Teamwork is a vital component of this role, as it requires building and nurturing strong relationships both within the team and with other internal Nomura teams.
