Catering Manager (School Canteen)

Job Duties: 

The Catering Manager will act in partnership with the company to manage and lead the operational delivery for their designated business area by driving forward initiatives in all areas, specifically:

• Take responsibility for the full operational operation and development for assigned account.
• Fully responsible for P&L for assigned account with the help of operation manager.
• Be the Food & Work Safety Champion, overseeing and ensuring the principles, policies, procedures and guidelines are implemented and managed on an ongoing basis.
• Proactively engage and manage the team/s to deliver the agreed service levels and KPI’s as per the contractual requirements.
• Manage excellent service delivery and support clients with ad-hoc requirements.
• Help to build strong relationships with the client.
• Innovation approach to the evolution of the offer
• Support Contract, Project, P&L and team management
• Help in the delivery of profitable growth through contract delivery and client/guest relationships.
• Help develop business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs

Requirement:

• Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
• 5 years’ experience in service catering industry.
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office Package.
• Proven operational knowledge, skills and experience in managing site/service operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests, clients and employees at all levels.
• Management of Profit and Loss Accounts and acting on their results.
• Good in both Chinese & English.
• Culinary skillset is a plus.
