JOB PURPOSE

This role builds strategic partnerships with modern trade customers to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for the Hong Kong Foods Retail business. You will bring together customer priorities, shopper needs and category opportunities to create and execute strong joint business plans across store and digital touchpoints. In your first year, you will deepen key customer relationships, strengthen commercial planning and improve the quality and consistency of execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You’ll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters — for people and the planet.
• Develop and deliver customer strategies and joint business plans that grow sales, profitability, market share and long-term customer value.
• Build trusted, multi-level relationships with key modern trade customers and represent the customer perspective within the business.
• Lead customer negotiations, trade terms, promotional planning and investment choices, balancing growth opportunities with sustainable returns.
• Own customer performance reviews and use sales, shopper and financial information to identify risks, opportunities and clear actions.
• Coordinate Marketing, Customer Strategy and Planning, Finance and Supply Chain partners to deliver launches, promotions, assortment and availability with excellence.
• Create an inclusive, high-performing way of working that supports open collaboration, learning and accountable execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience in key account management, customer development, sales or a related commercial role.
• Proven ability to develop customer plans, manage commercial performance and deliver profitable growth.
• Strong negotiation, selling, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Commercial and analytical capability, including experience using data to make decisions and improve customer performance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work and manage competing priorities in a dynamic retail environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with modern trade retailers in Hong Kong.
• Experience in foods, consumer goods or retail.
• Experience managing store and digital customer touchpoints, promotional investment or customer profit and loss.
