      Pay                              \:    HK$27,413 – HK$38,290 (HGPS Point 9 to 15) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Assist the Hospital Manager in performing procurement and materials management functions including assets management, goods receipt and delivery, auto-refill management, store keeping, annual stock take and condemnation.

2.      Provide administrative support for annual medical equipment bidding exercise.

3.      Monitor renewal of equipment license and petty cash utilization.

4.      Communicate with and handle enquiries from clients and vendors.

5.      Compile statistics and management reports.

6.      Being the clerical in-charge of the Supplies Section and supervise junior staff.

7.      Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
 

Entry Requirements:

1.   (a)   Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
       OR
      (b)   5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:

              -   Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and

              -   Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; 
                  or equivalent.

2.   3 years' clerical experience with good knowledge of the functions and operations in one or more of the following areas:

(a)    supplies and stores

(b)    filing and records keeping

(c)     data input and analyses

(d)    general administration

(e)    human resources

(f)      finance, accounting and statistics

(g)     telephone operation, client communication and reception service
 

Preferred Attributes/Exposure:

1.      Clerical experience with good knowledge of the functions and operations in one or more of the following areas:

(a) Procurement and materials management.

(b) Preparation of management reports

2.      Hands-on experience and good knowledge in application of the HA’s Enterprise Resource Planning System and Materials Catalogue System.

3.      Proficiency in PC applications such as MS Word and MS Excel.

4.      Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently and under pressure.

5.      Good interpersonal / communication skills.

2.  Serving staff who have completed F.5 /S.5 or equivalent and have 3 years’ clerical experience within HA may also be considered.
