Job Description - Client Onboarding Manager

Key responsibilities
  1. Managing the end-to-end client onboarding process for corporate and individual clients
  2. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout onboarding — proactively communicating timelines, requirements, and progress
  3. Collecting, reviewing, and processing KYB/KYC documentation, including UBO identification and verification
  4. Coordinating with the compliance team to ensure all onboarding cases meet AML/CTF requirements
  5. Performing initial risk assessments and routing cases appropriately based on client risk profile
  6. Identifying and resolving documentation gaps or blockers to keep onboarding on track
  7. Tracking onboarding pipeline and reporting on conversion rates, turnaround times, and bottlenecks
  8. Supporting periodic client reviews and remediation projects
  9. Contributing to the continuous improvement of onboarding processes, templates, and tooling
Requirements
  1. 3–5 years of experience in client onboarding, KYB/KYC operations, or a related role within financial services, payments, fintech, or banking
  2. Solid understanding of KYB/KYC requirements and corporate structure documentation
  3. Familiarity with AML/CTF frameworks and the ability to apply them in a client-facing context
  4. Experience working with onboarding or compliance platforms and CRM tools
  5. Strong communication skills — able to manage client expectations clearly and professionally
  6. Highly organised, with the ability to manage a high volume of cases simultaneously
  7. Proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail
  8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
