Job Description - Client Services / Sales Support Associate - International asset management

A leading international asset management firm is seeking a Client Services / Sales Support Associate to support its institutional and intermediary distribution business in Hong Kong. This role sits at the intersection of sales, client servicing, and operations, playing a key role in supporting relationship management, business development across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to institutional and intermediary sales teams, ensuring smooth execution of client servicing and sales activities
Support the preparation of client materials, including pitch books, fund updates, performance reports, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs/RFPs)
Assist in onboarding processes, account maintenance, and documentation related to client mandates
Maintain and update CRM systems, ensuring accuracy of client data, pipeline tracking, and reporting
Monitor fund flows, sales activity, and client requests, providing regular reporting to the sales team
Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistency in client messaging and service delivery

Candidate Profile

Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
4–8 years of experience in asset management within client servicing or sales support or marketing function
Solid understanding of fund products (e.g. mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives) and asset management operations
Experience supporting institutional and/or intermediary clients (e.g. private banks, family offices, pension funds) preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
Fluency in English required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin advantageous
