Cloud Engineer (NEW headcounts!!)

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to lead and support cloud migration projects across AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and other major platforms. You will design, migrate, and optimise workloads in a large-scale enterprise environment, with a strong focus on on-prem-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud migration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with vendor partners to design, implement, and maintain private cloud platform and PaaS aligned with organizational security and compliance requirements
2. Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and high availability of cloud services
3. Automate provisioning and configuration of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools
4. Automate application deployment using standard CI/CD pipelines
5. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and high system resilience

Required Qualifications

1. 4+ years of experience with private cloud platforms and PaaS in IT environments
2. Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on major cloud platforms in hybrid or private cloud environments
3. Strong technical expertise with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Linux, and cloud-native technologies
4. Demonstrated experience with AIOps and Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) management
5. Experience implementing secure-by-design principles throughout infrastructure
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with focus on operational efficiency and system reliability
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced, agile cross-functional teams
8. Excellent command of English and Chinese with fluency in Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications

1. Relevant experience in software development
2. Formal architecture certification from a major cloud provider or equivalent qualification
