Communications Manager .
Principal responsibilities: - Plan and execute publicity campaigns to raise the profile and image of the company among financial media and financial sector by organizing media events or pitching media interviews to promote the company's key initiatives and new product launch
- Draft press release, Q&As, lines-to-take, speeches, presentations, advertorials, and other communications related materials, including awards submission and spokespersons profile, etc.
- Manage media enquiries and media interviews establish relations and maintain regular communications with media proactively pitch for media coverage
- Monitor company news, peers' news and the industry related news from regional and international media outlets to keep management updates on industry trends
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to align communications efforts with business objectives and support product launches, events, and initiatives
- Handle internal communication duties prepare reports, analysis, proposals, etc.
- Support Issue/Crisis management and ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
University degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline Minimum five years of experience in PR, Media Relations, Corporate Communications, Financial Communications or Investor Relations Knowledge in financial sector and investment products are required Strong media relations skills and experience interacting with journalists, editors, and media outlets Native English writing and editing skills are required Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Chinese word processing, social media platforms, communication tools. Experience with media monitoring and analytics tools is a plus Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must Resilient, able to work responsibly in a dynamic environment well-organized and detail-oriented Creative with growth mindset capable of managing communications effectively and well connected Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
