Compliance Manager, Hedge Funds

The Company:

My client is a rapidly expanding multi-strategy hedge fund with a global presence, currently enhancing our compliance department. Their collaborative team structure provides ample opportunities for both personal and professional development. They are looking for a driven and experienced Compliance Manager to be based in HK. You will be reporting to APAC Head of Compliance, oversee critical components of our regulatory and trade compliance programs across various jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and uphold the organization's global compliance policies while monitoring regulatory changes across key regions (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, US, EU).
• Manage trade oversight and conduct compliance assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
• Deliver compliance training to staff and provide real-time support to investment and trading teams.
• Engage in regulatory filings and participate in new product initiatives to evaluate compliance impacts and contribute to strategic projects.

Your profile:

• 7–10+ years of relevant compliance experience at a hedge fund, asset manager, or regulatory agency
• good communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to think out of the box
• able to critically, assess and challenge documentation with an independent mindset
• reliable, resilient and capable of independently dealing with key stakeholders
• fluent in English & Chinese
