Credit analyst (Bank, 4-6 month bonus)

Your new role

As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will support the credit team in preparing credit proposals, conducting financial analysis, monitoring credit portfolios, and assisting with renewals and ongoing risk assessments. The role offers exposure to various industries and regional clients while working closely with relationship managers and risk stakeholders.

• Support relationship managers in preparing credit proposals, annual reviews, and renewal submissions for corporate clients
• Conduct financial analysis including cash flow assessment, leverage, liquidity and industry risk evaluation
• Assist in credit portfolio monitoring, covenant tracking, and early warning detection
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as risk, compliance and operations to ensure smooth credit processes
• Support ad-hoc analysis, MIS reporting and documentation in line with internal credit policies

What you'll need to succeed

You will hold a degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline, with strong financial analysis skills. Prior exposure to credit analysis, corporate banking, audit, or financial modelling through internships or entry-level roles is preferred. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in English are required; Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
