Credit Analyst, Senior Manager - European Corporate & Investment Bank

Our client is a stable and well-established European Corporate & Investment bank in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for an Associate Director, Credit Analyst to join their Corporate Banking Front Office function in order to expand their capacity in the region. This position will be covering the Large Corporate (MNC & Conglomerate) and Commodities Trading clients portfolio.

Responsibilities

1. Perform in-depth credit analysis on borrowers for corporate banking lending proposals covering a wide range of corporate & structured finance transactions (acquisition, leverage financing, project financing, commodities trade finance, receivable purchase or securitized deals)
2. Responsible for credit risk assessment and modelling, including financial spreading, rating, loan classification, New Corporation model, default trigger and projection
3. Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product Specialist & Sales Support throughout the deal origination & execution process
4. Execute periodic reviews & credit risk assessment to manage & monitor the credit risk level of the portfolio
5. Coordinate with Credit Risk & HQ Credit Committee on handling credit application enquiries from senior management & approval committee
6. Handle credit related matters during credit structuring and term sheet preparation, negotiation and review processes
7. Work with internal stakeholders on regulatory & internal control exercise relating to credit risk

Requirements

1. Degree or above
2. 8 years + Corporate Banking Front Office Credit Analyst experience
3. Experience on a wide variety of Corporate Banking and Commodities & Structured Trade Finance Products
4. Excellent understanding of credit risk frameworks and documentation
5. Strong experience in preparing credit application & credit proposal
6. Solid communication skills with prior experience on working with various senior stakeholders
7. Candidate with more experience would be considered for the Associate Director level
