You will be joining a China top‑tier bank with an established presence in Hong Kong and across major regional markets. The bank is recognised for its strong credit culture, robust governance, and diversified portfolio across corporate and financial institutions clients.


Your new role

• As the Credit Approver Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  
  • Reviewing and approving credit proposals across large corporates, POEs, SOEs, FIs and NBFIs.
  • Conducting in‑depth credit assessment including financial analysis, obligor risk rating, transaction structure evaluation and covenant assessment.
  • Ensuring credit decisions are aligned with the bank's risk appetite, internal policies, regulatory standards, and portfolio strategy.
  • Collaborating with Relationship Managers and Risk teams to maintain balanced credit decisions supporting sustainable business growth.

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid experience in corporate credit approval, risk assessment or corporate lending within banking.
• Strong understanding of large corporate and FI/NBFI credit dynamics, financial modelling, sector risk trends and credit structuring.
• Familiarity with internal control standards, regulatory expectations and portfolio monitoring methodologies.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence in providing well‑reasoned credit recommendations.
• Degree holder in Finance, Business, Accounting or related disciplines; professional qualifications are advantageous.
