Job Description - Credit Risk Manager (Credit Review)

Job Responsibilities

Assess credit applications and financing proposals, evaluate associated risks, and prepare comprehensive credit assessment reports.

Develop and enhance credit risk policies to manage the bank’s credit risk exposure effectively.

Support the development of commercial lending, trade finance and other credit products to strengthen the bank’s competitiveness.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline.

Professional qualifications such as CFA, FPM, ACCA, CPA or ECF are preferred.

At least 7 years of experience in credit risk management and credit analysis; experience in credit policy development is an advantage.

Sound understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, Basel III and banking practices relating to credit risk management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills, with the ability to work independently.

Proficient in written English and Chinese, and fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
