Manager/Senior Manager – Credit Risk Team Lead (Risk Management)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the risk team to develop/ improve risk policies, procedures and risk methodologies, execution of credit control, margin calls, credit approval;
2. Provide comments on credit limits applications for securities and commodities, VA businesses;
3. Provide user requirement for IT system development in respect of risks & relevant SFC rules, and perform UAT;
4. Risk assessment on new products and businesses and assist in developing the risk control framework for new businesses/products including relevant risk management policies and procedures, systems and daily monitoring workflow;
5. Handle regular reporting to the SFC related to Risk management perspective

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in securities industry risk management function;
2. Bachelor or above in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines;
3. Qualification in risk or financial management such as FRM or CFA is preferred;
4. At least 6 years’ relevant experience in sizeable financial institutions;
5. Knowledge of credit risk management methodologies, good Excel skill, VBA;
6. In-depth knowledge in SFC securities margin rules, FRR;
7. Experience in system implementation, project management or related tasks;
8. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese);
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment;
10. High standard of work ethics, integrity, and adherence to internal control;
11. Proven leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills; a good team player;
12. More experienced candidate will be considered as senior manager
