Crypto Exchange Setup (Frequent global travel/stationing, 70K)

Your new company
We are hiring hands-on professionals to set up, launch, and run a crypto exchange, ensuring that operations, regulatory compliance, and cross-border execution are done properly from day one.
This role sits at the intersection of exchange operations, compliance implementation, payments, and regulatory coordination, and requires regular interaction with banks, regulators, service providers, and overseas partners.
Chinese language abilities (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) are mandatory, and international travel is required as part of the role.

• Lead the end-to-end setup and launch of the crypto exchange, including operating workflows, control frameworks, and readiness for regulatory scrutiny.
  
• Own day-to-day exchange operations, covering user onboarding, deposits and withdrawals, wallet movements, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  
• Implement and maintain regulatory and compliance operations, including KYC/AML processes, transaction monitoring, reporting, and audit support across multiple jurisdictions.
  
• Set up and oversee wallet and custody operations (hot/cold wallets), ensuring security controls, access governance, and incident response procedures are in place.
  
• Manage fiat and crypto payment integrations, including banks, on-ramps, off-ramps, and third-party service providers.
  
• Act as a key coordination point with regulators, banks, auditors, and compliance advisors, including participation in in-person meetings and overseas travel where required.
  
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and regulatory risks, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved quickly and transparently.
  
• Work cross-functionally with management, technology, legal, and external partners to ensure the exchange operates in a secure, compliant, and scalable manner.
