Job Description - Customer Service Clerk

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in sales reporting, analytics and presentations.
  • Assist line manager in Sales reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Supporting, maintaining and developing the relationship and services extended to currently customers according Sales head’s request.
  • Updating and managing the CRM systems ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Arranging and coordinating meetings and events. Recording, translating and distributing documents and minutes of meetings. Follow-up with action items from Sales Head’s meeting with management team.
  • Receiving and interacting with incoming customers.
  • Arranging client visits, follow up on corporate account development and strategies of Sales Head office.
  • Furthermore to support Sales Head with quotations, follow up, keep a close dialogue with customer and sales. Revert and prepare pricing/quote requests.
  • Other specific responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Qualifications / Experience

  1. College degree or above.
  2. Minimum 3 years sales experience, and at least 1 year experience in freight forwarding industry.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of LCL industry, familiar with operation processes, trade lane and shipping market.
  4. A results-driven individual with a successful track record in new business development.
  5. Business acumen, customer-oriented, self-motivated, able to work under pressure.
  6. Able to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers from all nationalities and are confident in social and business networking situations
  7. Have a combination of great interpersonal skills and persistence whilst being detail oriented and organized with a strong focus on quality customer service.
  8. A strategic thinker with long term planning abilities which you have the drive and determination to implement
  9. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  10. Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
