Job Description - Data Analyst - Insurance

Key Responsibilities

Perform exploratory and advanced analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights across customer behavior and business performance.
Analyze complex data challenges and provide data‑driven solutions to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Develop datasets, perform data extraction and transformation using Python, SQL, and other analytical tools.
Build dashboards and visualization reports to communicate findings clearly, preferably using Power BI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical approaches and ensure insights are actionable.

Qualifications & Experience

5-7 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
Industry experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage but not required.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience managing and analyzing large datasets.
Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Ability to interpret business needs, design analytical methods, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
Experience working with customer data, digital touchpoints, or performance analytics.
Familiarity with statistical methods, modeling concepts, or BI/reporting best practices.
