This role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, developing data models, and supporting analytics initiatives crucial for operational excellence. Role Overview:
The Data Integration Engineer will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust data pipelines, integrating diverse logistics systems, and enabling data-driven decision-making within the wider team. You will work closely with various business units to improve data visibility and reliability.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining ETL / ELT data pipelines, models, and data lakehouse or data warehouse solutions
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or data integration roles
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data extraction, transformation, and automation
• Experience supporting logistics, transportation, or supply chain data domains is highly preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, orchestration tools, and BI/reporting tools is advantageous
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Effective communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT data pipelines for operational and enterprise data ingestion, transformation, and publication
• Integrate data from logistics-related platforms such as transportation, warehouse, carrier, freight audit, order management, and ERP systems into centralized data repositories
• Support system-to-system and API-based integrations for reliable data flow across applications
• Develop data models, schemas, and datasets to support business intelligence, dashboards, and KPIs
• Build data structures analyzing transportation performance, warehouse activity, inventory movement, and supply chain metrics
• Partner with analysts and business teams to translate reporting needs into reusable data products
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, reconciliation logic, and monitoring controls
• Maintain documentation on data flows, lineage, and technical specifications
• Support operational teams by providing visibility into shipment, order, and performance data
• Troubleshoot data issues, optimize performance, and improve overall data environment reliability and scalability

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles
• Proven hands-on experience with data pipelines, models, and data lakehouse; experience in logistics or supply chain domains is preferred
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and orchestration tools is a plus
• Good understanding of data governance and security regulations
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment
