Our client is an international asset management firm with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber candidate to join them. To supervise the data services team that responsible for the sourcing, analysis, integration, management and distribution of security, index and portfolio data. Oversee and lead day to day operations of subject area to ensure data quality, process efficiencies and management of risk. Maintains and develops policy and procedure documentation for functional team. Formulates both tactical and strategic plans to increase productivity and to reduce risk. Liaise with customer, business partners, and systems to translate business requirements into data requirements, evaluating and recommending data solutions. Make recommendations for global operational enhancements when necessary. Participates in new product forums and stay abreast of industry news and developments. Reviews database queries to analyze and validate data for problem resolution for ad-hoc customer questions or issues that result from data surveying. Participates and leads Operations Support projects and initiatives involving multiple business partners, provide subject matter expertise. Team management. To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in data management with index or security reference data. Experienced in managing projects and team management. Ability to lead, coach, develop and manage team members. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, prioritize work for self and other and meet deadlines. Team player. Preferred reporting tools experience such as Bloomberg, SQL, OBIEE a plus.
