Job Description - Dealer (Derivatives Div)

Responsibilities:

Trading

Developing and implementing trading strategies to generate profits
Executing trades/responding to price quotations that take advantage of market trends
Monitoring the performance/life cycle of trades and adjusting strategies as necessary
Collaborating with other members of the trading team to share knowledge and insights
Managing risk by respecting internal risk matrix and using hedging strategies when appropriate

Securities Finance

Handle Day to day collateral movement and quotations
Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements
Build relationship with clients and traders to stay on top of latest market development and trade structures

Product Development

Handle Day to day collateral movement and quotations
Identifying market trends and areas of demand for new financial products
Conducting research and analysis to determine the feasibility and potential profitability of new products
Collaborating with other members of the trading team, as well as with clients and external partners, to develop product specifications and pricing strategies
Working with legal and compliance teams to ensure that new products meet regulatory requirements
Working with project and IT team to help Launching new products, and provide solutions proposal to various stakeholders within the bank

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Math, Finance, Econometrics, Physics, or other relevant disciplines
3-5 years of working experience in trading / securities finance or related fields
Knowledge of financial products such as derivatives and experience in a banking environment is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attentive to details and passionate about performance
Good communication skills, fluent in English and written Chinese
Willing to take up initiatives, possess can-do spirit to bring about changes in process
