Debt Securities Trading- AVP/ VP

Your new company

Our business partner is a well-established bank that is seeking an experienced Debt Securities Trading AVP/ VP professional to join their Treasury and Markets department.

Your new role

As a key member of the team, you will:

• Develop and implement trading strategies for debt securities.
• Build and maintain a strong network of buy-side investors and trading counterparties, both onshore and offshore.
• Provide timely bond quotations and pricing responses for client enquiries.
• Identify market opportunities and execute bond transactions within approved risk parameters to meet profitability targets.
• Produce analytical reports and market commentaries to support trading decisions.
• Drive innovation by contributing to new product development, system enhancements, and initiatives that support trading and market-making activities.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or fixed income sales/ trading across reputable banks & financial institutions. A tertiary degree coupled with proficiencies in English and Chinese are mandatory. ECF-TM and other qualifications with HKMA/ SFC are always advantageous.
