DevOps Engineer Location: Hong Kong / Remote Collaboration with US Teams
Industry: AI / FinTech (Supporting US Investment Banking Clients)

As our business scale, a next-generation AI platform will be rolled out across a portfolio of major US Investment Banking clients. As the platform scales, we are strengthening our engineering function with a dedicated DevOps Engineer with Security expertise-someone who can go beyond deployment and bring true security engineering depth into the team.
You will be the security-minded DevOps specialist ensuring that the platform is secure, compliant, scalable, and automation-driven, working closely with engineers who currently focus primarily on deployment.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure supporting a large-scale AI platform.
Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
Own security tooling, monitoring, incident response workflows, and compliance alignment.
Partner with developers to ensure secure architecture and educate non-security engineers on constraints and best practices.
Ensure compliance against CASA, SOC2, NIST or similar standards.
Drive continuous improvement in automation, cloud governance, and secure operational processes.

Required Background

5+ years of DevOps experience, with 2+ years focused on cloud security & compliance.
Strong AWS expertise, including:
- VPC, IAM, S3, EC2, KMS, Lambda
Security tooling proficiency:
- AWS Security Hub, Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Config, AWS WAF
Infrastructure-as-Code:
- Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
CI/CD experience:
- GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, or Jenkins
Familiarity with Amazon WorkSpaces, AppStream 2.0, or Client VPN.
Understanding of compliance frameworks such as CASA, SOC2, or NIST.
Strong documentation skills and ability to explain security constraints to non-security developers.
