PURPOSE

As lead of the Community Care function, independently lead strategy, development and implementation of our Group Community Care strategy, partnerships and activities - which spans 10 BU markets, reaching tens of thousands of beneficiaries and supported by thousands of employee volunteering hours - ensuring they are aligned with broader Group ESG strategy and business objectives as well as igniting a volunteering and charitable giving culture across the company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Independently manage, develop and extend the impact of Group Community Care partners to grow the reach and maturity of our program which spans 10 BU markets reaching tens of thousands of beneficiaries and supported by thousands of employee volunteering hours
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a small team as well as more broadly across Bus in 10 markets via the Community Care leads network which this role chairs and drives - with leadership and management by strength of influence and credibility of technical expertise Lead the establishment of a volunteering and charitable giving culture at FWD, including establishing the related policies, processes and systems required for success.
  • Ensure listed company readiness for reporting of our community care impact - from policies, procedures and people training across all 10 markets for data quality and data management
  • Provide counsel and advice to senior management on embedding charitable partnerships and components to business strategies
  • Establish a proactive internal and external communications strategy across all available channels in partnership with the relevant teams to tell a consistent and compelling Community Care story to all of the company's key stakeholders.
  • Ensure governance and due diligence of NGO partners and donations in the local markets
  • Build community investment knowledge and capabilities of the local markets

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • University degree or above
  • At least 15 years' experience in Community Investment, Community Relations or Corporate Affairs. Experienced in CSR related stakeholder management and partnership negotiation and partnership management skills
  • Understanding of community care programmes effect measurement & analysis
  • Understanding of ESG reporting and data and project management preferred

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Understanding of ESG and Community investment frameworks and standards
  • Experience in Asia regional community investment programme management and implementation
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple cross-country projects with different partners concurrently
  • Experience in ESG reporting and data and project management preferred
  • Understanding of social emerging trends (in the context of Asia and particularly SE Asia is a plus)
