Job Description - Director of Facility Management (Financial Services Company)

We are supporting a large, well-established financial services organisation in the search for an executive professional to lead its facilities, real estate, and workplace development portfolio. This role oversees office renovation, leasing and property management, with strong exposure to ESG-driven initiatives and major transformation projects.
Your new role
Lead end-to-end office renovation and workplace projects, covering design, construction, budgeting, contractor performance, defect rectification, and user handover.
Drive lease management activities including new lettings, renewals, negotiations, documentation, and real estate strategy aligned with business plans.
Oversee repair, maintenance, and property management operations to ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and corporate standards.
Manage owned and leased property portfolios, including space planning, refurbishment strategies, and service quality monitoring.
Integrate ESG and sustainability principles into renovation, leasing, maintenance, and property operations.
Lead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary facilities and real estate team, including succession planning and licencing compliance.
Support major real estate redevelopment and transformation initiatives, as well as ad hoc strategic assignments from senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor or above in Real Estate, Facility Management, Surveying, Building Studies, or a related discipline.
Minimum 18 years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Solid hands-on experience in office renovation projects, lease management, and property management.
Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and vendor negotiation.
Sound knowledge of project management, statutory requirements, and health & safety standards.
Mature, well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Proficient in English and Chinese, with strong communication skills and competency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

100-130k x 12 months + bonus
