Job Description - Director, Public Relations & Branding, European Private Bank

Your new company

A European Private bank with a longstanding heritage of discretion, excellence, and client-centric wealth management, is currently seeking an experienced Director, Public Relations & Brand Management to lead communications, brand, and storytelling strategy across the Hong Kong and Singapore business. This role is suited for a communications specialists from private banking or asset management who combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills, and who understands the importance of brand integrity, regulatory awareness, and refined storytelling in engaging UHNW/HNW clients.

Your new role
Public Relations & Communications

Develop and execute an integrated PR and communications strategy aligned with global brand positioning and regional business objectives
Lead media relations, including press engagement, messaging, press releases, media monitoring, and issue management
Act as a trusted communications advisor to senior management and key internal stakeholders

Brand Management

Own and safeguard the bank's brand identity, voice, and positioning across Hong Kong and Singapore
Ensure all external and internal communications consistently reflect the bank's brand values, visual identity, and tone
Localise global brand initiatives to ensure relevance and impact in regional markets
Manage brand governance in close coordination with global teams

Crafting Compelling Storytelling & Content

Lead the development of clear, compelling, and compliant storytelling across all channels
Draft, edit, review, and approve corporate content including:
- Client and internal communications
- Website content and digital pages
- Brochures, leaflets, and marketing materials
- Social media posts and campaigns
- Press releases and media materials
- Thought-leadership content and executive messaging
Ensure content is tailored to UHNW/HNW audiences while meeting regulatory and compliance standards

Events & Thought Leadership

Oversee the planning and execution of client events, partner events, and thought-leadership initiatives in Hong Kong and Singapore
Conceptualise flagship events that strengthen brand positioning and client engagement

Digital & Social Media

Manage and grow the bank's social media presence, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and on-brand content
Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence across all digital platforms

Stakeholder & Agency Management

Work closely with global communications, marketing, compliance, and legal teams
Manage external agencies including PR, branding, content, digital, and events partners

What you'll need to succeed

10+ years of experience in public relations, communications, brand management, and content development within private banking, wealth management, asset management, or financial services
Strong track record in brand stewardship and corporate storytelling in a regulated environment
Proven experience covering Hong Kong and Singapore markets
Deep understanding of UHNW/HNW client communications and institutional brand positioning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Strategic, detail-oriented, and able to operate with professionalism and discretion
