Job Description - Distribution Operation Assistant Manager - Governance

Responsibilities:

  • Perform broker administrative tasks, including managing contracts, documentation, and resolving any issues or inquiries.
  • Deliver training programs to enhance the sales team's knowledge and skills in maintaining sales quality and risk management.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks in the sales team's activities, including regulatory compliance, data security, and operational processes.
  • Develop distribution workflow manuals and procedures to streamline sales processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in sales processes, sales techniques, and customer interactions.
  • Review the governance framework of brokerage channels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement controls to minimize identified risks.
  • Implement sales quality tracking mechanisms to monitor the performance and adherence of the sales team to quality standards.
  • Closely work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance sales team performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making and risk management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management
  • 5 years + experience in sales support, operations, risk assessment, or any other relevant experience in insurance distribution and operation
  • Solid experience and sound knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Familiarize with distribution channel governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in implementing and managing sales quality tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Proficient in generating sales reports
  • Proficient in data analysis
  • Good team player, Proactive, attentive to details with excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
