About Our Client

Our client is one of the largest American investment banks, headquartered in New York City. They are now looking for an ECM Syndicate Support Analyst to join the Equity Capital Markets Syndicate team within Global Capital Markets (GCM) in Hong Kong to handle support IPO execution/ placements, deal pipeline tracker updates, roadshow coordination, post deal revenue analysis and reconciliation and supporting the ECM team through data management and internal processes. GCM serves as a nexus between Investment Banking and Sales & Trading and they comprise traditional market coverage and underwriting groups, as well as a number of product groups focused on providing customized capital structure solutions for their clients.

Job Description

• Responsible for supporting IPO execution, follow-ons, placements, and block trades across Asia Pacific
• Maintain and update the deal pipeline tracker, ensuring accurate status, timelines, and internal reporting
• Handle roadshow coordination in both deal and non-deal roadshows by coordinating schedules and logistics
• Track and reconcile deal revenue numbers, prepare post-deal revenue analysis and internal performance reporting
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, operational procedures, and control systems to support regulatory compliance and coordination under the HKEX FINI framework
• Assist in ad hoc requests from the Head of APAC Equity Syndicate to assemble presentation materials for investor and internal meetings

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant discipline
• 2+ years of working experience in ECM support/ sales assistant/ roadshow coordination within banking industry
• Strong knowledge in equity capital markets concepts and strong numerical data analysis skills
• Highly attentive to details and strong organization skills
• Excellent English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
