ED / Director - Signing Principal - IBD

My Client is a Chinese Investment bank and they are urgently seeking for an ED/Director level SFC Signing Principal to cope with their rapid expansion. Salary is highly competitive

Responsibilities:

1. Provide regular market and strategy updates to sales teams
2. Supervise the execution of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, financial advisory, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions and other fund raising activities
3. Manage corporate finance transactions which include due diligence work, record keeping, internal compliance work and coordination and management of other professional parties on the transactions
4. Communicate with clients, professional parties and the regulators including the Stock Exchange and the SFC
5. Assist the department head to manage corporate finance transactions which include internal approvals and compliance work
6. Work independently in the origination/evaluation of potential deals, marketing initiatives, and management of client relationship

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in accounting, finance, or law in a reputable university is preferred. MBA, CPA and/or CFA is highly preferred
2. SFC Type 1 and Type 6 RO licenses
3. An existing sponsor principal and RO of your current employer or possess the eligibility criteria including the required experiences and qualification to apply for RO and sponsor principal license
4. Possess 8 - 12 years' relevant HK IPO / corporate finance experience with proven track record of supervising / managing IPO and financial advisory deals, i.e. Supervised and completed at least 5 IPOs from start to finish. Prior experience in Chinese organizations / banks is preferred
5. Good understanding of securities market, investment banking and corporate finance activities
6. Sound knowledge in the Listing Rules, Takeovers Code and other relevant rules and regulations, preferable sponsor principal
7. Good command of Mandarin Chinese and English
8. Titles will depend on the candidate's abilities and experience
