The Role

ED/MD, Head of DCM, IBD

Key Accountabilities

• Act as DCM head, in charge of the daily operation of DC activities including but not limited to developing and updating SOPs, monitoring middle office and risk control issues innovative financial products development, training and onboarding of new team members, KPI monitoring etc.;
• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with bond issuer clients, including but not limited to those in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and other international markets;
• Manage the entire process for primary market bond issuances, including marketing, origination, roadshows, execution, and pricing;
• Such other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• University graduate or higher, in finance, economics, accounting, finance or law related degree preferred;
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets / Origination, rich management experience;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Strong client acquisition capabilities and an existing client network/portfolio;
• Proven track record in executing transactions across various debt products;
• Experience covering foreign clients and deal pipeline with such clients is a strong advantage;
• Excellent team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
