Position: ELV Design Manager

Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the design and implementation of ELV systems (including ICT infrastructure, Structured Cabling System, Network System, Security System (TVRA, CCTV, ACS, FIDS,VMS, ISMS etc), Video Conference System) for data centers. This includes manage and guide the design consultant, review the detail design documents, manage the bidding work, review the tender documents and materials.
2. Provide technical support and liaison with international clients throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate should be familiar with the overseas clients’ cabling infrastructure design & construction requirements, especially for the underground duct bank, Secure Trunking, Cable Basket, Fiber Runner, POE, telco manhole coordination.
3. Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and other relevant departments to resolve technical issues on-site.
4. Stay abreast of the latest developments in ELV technology and assess the application potential of new technologies in projects.
5. Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
6. Preferred: Familiar with the BMS system, BA system and Fire Alarm System.
7. Preferred: Familiar with Construction standards (e.g., testing standards, process standards, acceptance documentation requirements).
8. Preferred: Research and implement intelligent data center automation solutions, focusing on building a robust and efficient monitoring system, customizing electrical and HVAC control systems, minimizing manual intervention, and maximizing automated system operation.


Requirements:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective communication with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV system implementation, with experience working with design consultants, contractors, and data center company. Proven ability to independently manage the entire lifecycle of ELV system projects.
3. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is required; candidates with significant ELV experience can be considered with alternative qualifications.
4. Familiarity with ELV industry standards and regulations and understanding of advanced technologies in related systems.
5. Proficient in AutoCAD (CAD drawing), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
6. Strong coordination and problem-solving skills; high sense of responsibility and initiative; ability to handle pressure; strong work ethic; commitment to excellence; and excellent teamwork skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
1. Extensive experience managing ELV systems throughout the lifecycle of large-scale data center/high-precision factory projects, with strong management experience and capabilities in data center equipment and facility design and delivery.
2. Familiarity with the technical principles of mainstream ELV systems and hands-on experience commissioning at least one ELV product.
3. Experience with international projects.
4. Understanding of large-scale electrical and cooling DC infrastructure.
