Engineer

Responsibility

Monitor and keep tracking with the Submarine Cable budget from time to time Liaise with internal departments, headquarter or overseas carriers during submarine cable project implementation phase
Handle project documentation during project implementation and after project completion
Provide technical solutions supporting both internal and external customer's queries regarding transmission network engineering issues
Support planning team and various sub-teams to develop significant engineering solutions.
Source, evaluate and acquire network capacity to support company network requirement.
Maintain accurate network inventory records by using company software applications
Participate cable investment projects

Requirements

Associated Degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology or Engineering or other related disciplines
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, preferably with international telecom industry experience
Hand on experience in Transmission Systems, i.e. SDH, OTN, PTN, DWDM, etc., and Network Management Platform.
Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
