Equities Developer - Java

My client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Vice President, Software Developer to drive innovations in their equity derivatives pricing platform.

What you'll do

• Design and build robust software solutions enhancing the pre-trade and post-trade pricing functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to streamline processes.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to the organization's technical communities.
• Implement secure coding practices and maintain optimal performance across all software solutions.

The experience and skills needed

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience in multithreaded programming.
• Familiarity with Linux and distributed file systems.
• Knowledge of equity derivatives, particularly in pricing and risk management.
