Equity Derivatives Trader

(Candidates currently in Trade Support roles are also encouraged to apply.)

• Develop in-depth expertise in Delta One trading systems and provide direct support for core trading functions on the desk.
• Contribute to the global development and enhancement of pricing models, risk management tools, and electronic trading platforms.
• Assist with a broad range of day-to-day trading activities , including trade booking and lifecycle management , execution and pricing maintenance , and process automation .
• Assess trading risks and design suitable hedging strategies to minimize potential losses.
• Participate in market making and inventory management to support the desk’s trading objectives.
• Ensure fair and accurate execution of client orders in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the broader trading team to develop and implement long-term trading strategies and expand the firm’s product and client offerings.

• Bachelor’s degree or above from a well-recognized university .
• 3–5 years of relevant experience , ideally within equity derivatives trading or trade support.
• Solid understanding of equity derivatives products, market structures, and client needs .
• Willingness to support global trading coverage (day and night shifts on a rotational basis).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
• Proven ability to understand and manage complex and diverse financial instruments .
• Proficiency in Bloomberg , booking systems , and trading protocols ; familiarity with closing procedures and trade lifecycle processes .
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Chinese .
