Social Service, Education Service and Health Service are the three pillars of services contributing to the public value.
Responsibility:
The role will be responsible for coordinating all activities in relation to property and facility management aspects in AKA’s properties and all services units’ premises.
- Leading and supervising a team of 10-12 workers in carrying out daily property management and general affairs works at headquarters building
- In-charge of facilities maintenance scopes of all existing services premises (about 27 locations in Island South District), including day-to-day ad-hoc repair and maintenance, minor upgrading, scheduled maintenance, outsourcing vendor management etc. and to rectify any technical issues in the premises to minimize the risk of service interruption and to fulfil statutory compliance.
- Responsible for tendering and/or quotation process and internal approval for property and facilities maintenance and upgrading works/services related procurement
- Responsible for property performance reporting, and presentation for making improvement recommendation
- Liaise with different stakeholders in all property management-related matters
- Responsible for budgeting, manpower planning and management, reporting, emergency handling and maintaining good relationships with different stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports to management on property related issues and status
- Formalize/update internal procedures, guidelines, policies regarding premises risk and facility management
Requirement:
- Degree holder in Property Management/ Housing Management / Facilities Management / Building Services Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property or facilities management working at the Client side or in consultancy firms; Candidates with more experience would be considered as Senior Estate Manager
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, proactive, independent, responsible personality and a good team player.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in spoken English and Cantonese and written English and Chinese
