ETF Operations Specialist

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing asset management platform with a strong footprint in public funds and exchange-traded products across Asia. As part of continued expansion within its ETF franchise, the firm is seeking a Leveraged ETF Operations Specialist to join its Operations team. This is a newly created position offering high visibility and strong long-term development prospects.

• Oversee end-to-end operational processes for leveraged and inverse ETF products, including daily NAV calculation, fund accounting, reconciliation, and share registration.
• Support annual audits, financial statement preparation, and ongoing regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate trade settlement, account administration, and daily interaction with custodians, brokers, and market makers.
• Enhance operational workflows, controls, and automation to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise closely with internal teams including Trading, Risk, and Finance, as well as external service providers.

• Master’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
• 2–5 years of experience in asset management or public fund operations, ideally with ETF exposure (leveraged/inverse products preferred).
• Experience gained from asset managers, ETF issuers, sell-side institutions, or custodian banks is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of fund regulations, accounting standards, ETF mechanics, and derivatives valuation/settlement processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., VBA, Python) to drive operational efficiency is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese is an advantage.
