ETF Portfolio Manager

A leading global asset management platform is looking to hire anETF Portfolio Manager in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded investment team and play a key role in ETF portfolio execution, workflow enhancement, and product support across primary market activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing portfolio adjustments driven by subscriptions, redemptions, and corporate or index events, while closely monitoring tracking error and portfolio deviations. You will also work with operations, risk, and compliance teams to improve ETF workflows, ensure accurate PCF production, and support daily portfolio oversight, valuation, reconciliation, and trade support processes.

The successful candidate will partner with sales and distribution teams on fundraising initiatives, client meetings, and investor presentations, while also contributing market and product insights through research on fund flows, competitor activity, and client demand. The role will also involve supporting new product development, regulatory matters, and other ad hoc projects from senior management.

Requirements

1. Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
2. At least 3 years of hands-on ETF portfolio management experience, or strong ETF operations experience from a senior profile.
3. Solid understanding of end-to-end ETF workflow management.
4. Experience in index construction or index research is highly preferred.
5. Strong proficiency in Bloomberg and Wind; Python or VBA skills are an advantage.
6. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, spoken and written.
