Job Description

• Execute trades across cash equities (HK/China-focused), fixed income (RMB & USD cash bonds, US Treasuries), FX (spot, forwards, swaps), and derivatives (including equity index and UST futures)
• Monitor orders and market movements, gather market intelligence, and provide timely feedback to the investment team
• Partner closely with middle and back office teams to ensure seamless pre-trade, trade execution, post-trade settlement, and regulatory reporting
• Support new initiatives and ad-hoc projects as directed by management
• Respond effectively to requests and trade-related updates from onshore asset owners
• Occasional night shift work may be required depending on market coverage

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable academic institution; CFA qualification or progress toward CFA is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of relevant trading desk experience; exposure to trade operations and settlement processes is highly valued
• Multi-asset class experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a corporate and cross-functional environment
• High level of ownership, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
• Proficient in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office; experience with workflow automation or process improvement is advantageous
• SFC licenses for Type 1 / 4 / 9 regulated activities are required
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua mandatory)
• Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
