Executive Officer / Assistant Executive Officer (25260677)

The appointee will be a key member of the dynamic Mainland and Global Engagement Section (MGES) for proactively developing and executing the internationalisation plan of the School. 


Responsibilities: 



  • Assist in planning and delivery of year-round internationalisation initiatives for the School;

  • Organise on/off campus experiential programmes to facilitate integration of international students;

  • Support and attend physical and/or virtual overseas conferences together with school leadership to solicit partnerships for the School;

  • Liaise effectively with external and internal bodies to support recruitment, mobility processes, event delivery, partner management, and maintaining records; and

  • Performing other duties as assigned to ensure smooth office operations and contribute to international recruitment, mobility, and integration outcomes.


Requirements:



  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably accompanied by at least two years of relevant work experience;

  • A positive attitude, with the ability to multi-task, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team;

  • Experience in administrative support, event coordination, customer service, or student services;

  • A high standard of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese would be an advantage; and

  • Proficiency in computer software, such as Canva, MS Office, and/or Google Workspace.


Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Executive Officer role. 


Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. 


The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.


Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
