Job Description - Facilities Manager

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation and leading a team of technical and facilities management staff to ensure delivery of efficient, reliable and cost effective management services to our managing portfolio. S/He will take preventive measures and recommend improvement on day-to-day operations for the compliance with relevant ordinances as well as enhance the standard operation procedures and work instructions according to the related best practice as laid down by Property Management Services Authority from time to time. S/He will also handle all budgetary aspects including the agreed target cost for all maintenance works, R&M, Opex and Capex works, monitor the performance in line with the agreed SLA and KPI, review, formulate and propose enhancement work, maintenance schedules for the betterment of the facilities and coordinate with Project Team on facilities planning for new developments.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Facility Management / Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in maintenance / property / facilities management, with at least 2-4 years in managerial level
  • PMP (Tier 1) Licence Holder of PMSA
  • Holder of relevant professional qualification (e.g., HKIFM / CFM / HKIE / CIBSE / HKIH / CIH)
  • EMSD REW H(0) and driving license would be an advantage
  • Strong leadership, coordination, communication and problem solving skills, self-motivated, customer-oriented and achievement-driven
  • A good team player and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, particularly in incident report writing
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Facilities Manager
