Job Description - FI RM

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Institutions Relationship Manager to join our team in China. This role requires coverage of both Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions, with a focus on building strong client relationships, originating new pipelines, and driving revenue growth across treasury and credit products. The successful candidate will operate as a mature and independent Senior RM, collaborating closely with the Global Markets Product Team to deliver integrated solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Manage and expand relationships with Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions in China, ensuring comprehensive coverage and client satisfaction.
Originate new business opportunities, build pipelines, and generate sustainable revenue across treasury and credit products.
Partner with the Global Markets Product Team to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and enhance cross-sell opportunities.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on market trends, risk management, and financing strategies.
Ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks and regulatory requirements while maintaining portfolio profitability.

Requirements

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in FI coverage, with proven track record in both Banks and Non-Bank FIs.
Strong knowledge of treasury and credit products, with ability to structure and execute complex transactions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as a senior banker, with maturity in client engagement and portfolio management.
Established network and ability to originate new pipelines in global FI sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside product teams.
