The team
You will join the Finance Division and work closely with the Treasury team. The role involves regular collaboration with internal stakeholders, external banking partners, system vendors, and project teams to support daily treasury operations and finance-related initiatives.
The position
As Assistant Manager, Finance, you will support smooth and efficient treasury operations, including customer collections, banking activities, issue resolution, month-end closing, and project-related testing. You will also provide oversight and operational support to junior team members.
The role & responsibilities
Support daily treasury operations, including customer collections and bank account or e-banking administration.
Resolve operational issues involving banks, vendors, internal systems, and other relevant parties.
Coordinate with stakeholders and follow up closely until issues are fully resolved.
Support month-end closing activities and review accounting journals prepared by junior team members.
Prepare and review finance and treasury-related reports.
Review bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding or unreconciled items.
Validate UAT results for new projects and provide post-implementation monitoring support.
Handle other ad hoc treasury and finance assignments as required.
The requirements
Qualified Accountant.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of relevant working experience.
Experience in treasury operations, banking, reconciliations, month-end closing, or related finance functions.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple matters effectively.
Comfortable working with internal teams, external banks, vendors, and project stakeholders.
