Job Description

As a VP Finance, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing financial operations to ensure compliance with SFC Type 1 FRR requirements.
Overseeing accounting and finance functions, including reporting and budgeting processes.
Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives.
Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support financial decision-making.
Monitoring and managing risks related to financial operations.
Providing leadership and guidance to the finance team to enhance performance.
Staying updated on industry regulations and financial trends to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP Finance should have:

A strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within the financial services industry.
CPA Qualified
Experience working at a brokerage firm
Big 4 Trained is a plus
Proficiency in managing compliance with SFC Type 1 requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Familiarity with Hong Kong financial regulations and standards.
