About the role

We are seeking a talented Java Developer / System Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will be based in Hong Kong Island and play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge software solutions that drive our client's business success.
What you'll be doing

Design, develop, and maintain complex Java-based applications and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
Perform system analysis, design, and architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and code quality
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software engineering industry

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Min 3+ years application development experience, 8+ years experience will be consider as a System Analyst
Extensive expertise in designing and developing complex Java-based applications and systems
Proficient in software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to deliver innovative solutions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools
