The successful candidate will be a born leader with previous managerial experience and excellent communication and presentation skills, proven experience in overseeing Finance with a strong ability to collaborate across a wide range of departments.

The Finance Manager will report to the General Manager of our Hong Kong subsidiary and be part of the leadership team. He will manage all activities Finance and partner with various teams across the organization to achieve efficiencies in terms of costs.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

·         Support and deputize the General Manager in his daily work / lead the accounting team in HK.

·         Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company, ensuring that the company is profitable, risk protected and financially strong.

·         Develop, monitor and review financial policies and procedures to enhance the productivity and ensure adequate internal controls.

·         Interface with auditors, tax advisors, banks and local authorities.

·         Managing the Accounting team for monthly reporting, accounting, budgets, forecast and insights to support strategic decision-making.

·         Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing efficient processes within Finance.

·         Support management in business development projects as required.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

·         Business Degree in Accountancy or Finance management or related business studies.

·         At least 4-5 years of working experience

·         Extensive knowledge of setting of budgets, reporting, inventory control systems and accounting.

·         Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization.

·         English with complete fluency in speech and in writing is a must, further languages as German, Mandarin and Cantonese would be an advantage.

·         Working knowledge with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS).

·         Overseeing the INFOR ERP System implementation

·         Willingness to travel to China

·         Hands-on mentality
