Finance Manager - Technical Accounting

The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth research on critical accounting issues, market trends, and regulatory updates and performing financial, cash flow and income statement analyses to assess the impact of new accounting standards or regulations.

• Provide guidance on business processes and internal controls related to accounting and regulatory changes.

• Providing technical support to the finance team in relation to complex accounting issues.

• Revise and maintain the groups accounting policies to align with the latest accounting standards.

• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication on accounting topics.

• Undertake additional tasks assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business required; advanced degrees or CPA certification preferred.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting/technical accounting; prior audit experience is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or US GAAP

• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modelling; experience with financial instrument valuation is a plus.

• Exceptional analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills.

• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Fluent in written and spoken English
