You will play a key role in supporting the APAC Head of Finance in the operation of the finance function in a role that demands breadth across FP&A, management reporting, budgeting, AUM reporting and some elements of financial control. In addition, working as key finance representative of the APAC regional team, you will be responsible for the design and execution of relevant projects. Responsibilities: Prepare regular report to provide business update and performance review to the business team. Participate in annual budget and quarterly forecast process to prepare revenue and expense projection. Consolidate AUM across countries to provide a projection of the Asia region. Maintain regional flows and AUM database in order to have timely and accurate data. Perform data mining and analysis to produce required management reports. Response to ad-hoc enquiry from senior management and business team. Preparation and review of month end financials Liaise with regulatory body and internal & external auditor Assist in the development and growth of junior staff in the team through informal mentoring or other methods as appropriate. Requirements: Chartered accountant with 7-10 years’ experience or qualified by experience. Experience working in an Asia / APAC regional capacity Experience within a multinational asset management firm, with good product knowledge. Working knowledge of SAP and business objects an advantage. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, which may be tested. Familiarity with group structure matrices, including cost centres and inter-companies. Track record of working as part of a small team and on own initiative. Excellent written and spoken English essential; able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form with all levels of seniority.
