Finance Manager - Global FinTech

The team

This role sits within Head Office Finance, within the group consolidation and external reporting function. You will collaborate closely with regional finance teams, senior management, and external auditors to drive consistent application of accounting policies across the group and to deliver robust, decision-useful financial information.

The role

As a Group Reporting & Technical Accounting professional, you will oversee key aspects of the group consolidation process and external reporting requirements. You'll provide technical accounting guidance on complex and judgemental areas, lead implementation of new accounting standards, and support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and board/audit/investor reporting packs.

The requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Big 4 audit (or similar accounting firm) background, ideally with audit or large multinational experience
• 5–8 years' experience in a group reporting, consolidation, or controllership role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with IFRS (or equivalent standards as applicable)
• Experience assessing the impact of new accounting standards and leading implementation across a group
• Experience supporting group consolidated financial statements prepared under IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP (as applicable)
• Hands-on experience with group consolidation systems
• Ability to provide technical guidance on complex areas such as revenue recognition, leases, impairments, and acquisitions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with auditors, regulators, and senior stakeholders
• Comfortable managing the year-end audit process and resolving audit queries in a timely manner
