Finance Manager - Institutional Equities and Investment Banking, Finance

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end closing, daily financial accounting & book keeping of related legal entities
• Review daily and monthly FRR reporting of SFC licensed corporations
• Prepare various reconciliation reports and month end financial reports
• Provide coaching to the team and review work performed by junior team members
• Review client money segregation & desegregation
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and year-end tax filing
• Assist in year-end audit & regulatory assignments
• Engage in ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Holder of Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Member of HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong sense of ownership
• Team player, good personality and motivation
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Proficient in MS Office, experience in SAP is an advantage
• Proficiency in English
