About Our Client

My client is a virtual bank and they are looking to hire a Regulatory Report - Finance Manager to join their team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Prepare and review HKMA banking returns, regulatory surveys, and Head Office regulatory reports
Establish and maintain internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of regulatory reporting data
Analyse and provide guidance on new HKMA and Basel regulatory reporting requirements
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors on matters related to regulatory reporting
Participate in system enhancement projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT)
Support departmental and management decision-making through ad hoc assignments and analytical projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

A strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent are advantageous.
Regulatory Reporting experience from a bank is a must
Proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
A detail-oriented approach and the ability to meet tight deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
