Job Description - Finance Manager, SFC Type 4 & 9, 40k (Native Mandarin)

The role of Finance Manager offers an excellent opportunity to handle accounting and finance operations within the VC/PE industry. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of fund accounting and proficiency in the Chinese language.

Job Description

As a Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing and maintaining accurate fund accounting records and reports.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Performing reconciliations, including cash, securities, and other assets.
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for audits and reviews.
Providing support for budgeting and forecasting processes.
Reviewing and improving accounting procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborating with the team to achieve financial objectives and deadlines.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) for effective communication.
Accounting experience in SFC Type 4 and 9 is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of fund accounting practices and principles.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
